Next StepsFurther to our offer of a place on your chosen postgraduate course, please read and follow the information below on the next steps you need to take to join us here at BU. Accepting your placeTo reserve your place on your course, please:
September 2010 Entry You will need to pay a non-refundable* deposit of £1000 (or £600 for MSc Management with Human Resource part-time) by 25 June 2010 with the balance of your fees due on enrolment. If you have received your offer email/letter after this deadline date, your deposit should be paid within four weeks of the date of your offer email/letter. February 2011 Entry You need to pay a non-refundable* deposit of £1000 (or £600 for Postgraduate Certificate Intellectual Property part-time) by 26 November 2010 with the balance of your fees due on enrolment. If you have received your offer email/letter after this deadline date, your deposit should be paid within four weeks of the date of your offer email/letter. *Deposits will normally only be refunded if you cannot meet the conditions of your offer, and/ or, for non-EU students, if you are not granted a visa to come to the UK (subject to reasons of refusal). Payment InformationGraduate discounts Bournemouth University graduates will receive a 15% discount. No application is needed to qualify for this discount. Additional payments You are also welcome to make additional payments prior to enrolling on the course which will be deducted from your tuition fee. These additional payments can be made in the same way you pay your deposit. Fees payment It is essential that you are able to pay your fees at enrolment. To assist you in this we can offer a choice of two payment plans:
Confirmation of PlaceWe will notify you once we have received your deposit payment. Once you receive confirmation from our Admissions Office of your deposit payment and your offer on your course is unconditional, you can now: Book your accommodationFull-time postgraduate courses If you hold an unconditional offer, then you are able to apply for a place in University accommodation. Conditional offer holders need to meet the requirements of their offer before making an application for accommodation. Part-time postgraduate courses For flexible, short–term accommodation, there are a number of hotels and bed & breakfasts in the local area.
