MBA Scholarships to be awarded to outstanding professional students for the 2010/11 Academic Year.

The Director of the Bournemouth MBA will award a number of scholarships to outstanding professional students who are enrolling on the Bournemouth MBA in September 2010.

The Bournemouth MBA Director’s Scholarships are available for full- and part-time applicants, irrespective of nationality or citizenship status.

The scholarship is for the sum of £2,000, which can either be deducted from the published tuition fee or provided to you as a cheque. For full-time students the scholarship will be for the first year of the course and for part-time students the scholarship will be on a pro-rata basis. Only self-funded students are eligible to apply. The scholarship is not available to sponsors.

To be eligible for the Bournemouth MBA Director’s Scholarship you should normally have a minimum First Class Honours UK undergraduate degree or equivalent academic qualification and/or three years work experience. If English is not your native language, you will need IELTS (Academic) 6.5 or above. You must also meet any other conditions relating to your offer.

Our MBA graduates have progressed to hold key positions in renowned companies such as JPMorgan, KPMG, IBM, Barclays, Mazars, Lush, the Crown Prosecution Service, the BBC, Electronic Arts, Financial Times, Ogilvy, and Blake Lapthorn.

In a recent study by the Association of MBAsExternal Link (Feb 2008), 90% of those surveyed stated their reason for taking on an MBA was to boost career progression and gain a lucrative salary.

The latest published First Destination Survey for the MBA academic year identified over 35% of our alumni students earn £50k or more, while 50% earn over £40k.
